If you’re looking for things to do near Ashford, Kent this autumn, then why not delve into the Ashford Snowdogs trail. The public art trail from Wild in Art sees a number of painted Snowdog sculptures dotted throughout Ashford. The sculptures are themed on the animated festive favourite The Snowman and The Snowdog by Raymond Briggs.

I’m delighted to be a part of it. My Snowdog, Sakura, was painted during the glorious heatwave of summer 2018. Sakura follows the theme of my Japanese-inspired paintings, featuring blossoms, hummingbirds, patterns, and beautiful colours. She took many hours to complete.

Sakura Snowdog is now happily living at Ashford International Station, and will be auctioned off for Pilgrims Hospice after the trail finishes.

A big thanks to Gallagher Group for choosing to sponsor Sakura.
