Transport for London - Year of the Bus

In Autumn 2014, I was involved in the 'Year of Bus' sculpture trail, a Wild in Art project in partnership with Transport for London.  41 hand painted bus sculptures were exhibited at prominent locations across London.

My bus, 'Swinging London' was inspired by the decade that changed everything.. the 60's!  It was located in St Martin's Court, just a few seconds from Leicester Square Tube station, slap bang in the heart of the west end..  The sculpture trail launched in spectacular fashion in October 2014 - with a number of buses appearing in Trafalgar Square.  Click here to see the remarkable launch.

In January 2015, the buses were then exhibited at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - home of the 2012 Olympics.

In 2017, my bus finally parked up at its spiritual home, the iconic Carnaby Street.  You can find it in the buzzing Kingly Court.
