The Grove mural 2020

Well this went swimmingly…

The Grove Resource Centre in Surrey approached me about giving their swimming pool a makeover.

As a day centre for adults with learning disabilities, the pool offers therapeutic experiences, so calming colours were important, to ensure the environment was just right for visitors. And it needed to be inspiring and exciting too.

The team at The Grove had seen my mural in Basingstoke’s Festival Place shopping centre, and felt the colourful koi-theme would be perfect for the pool area.

The end result - a soothing, large-scale mural which gives visitors to the day centre a ‘wow’ when they take a dip.
